The Girls...

Kayla spent the night last week and Mike snapped this pic of us reading bedtime stories. I love my girls....

Cinci-Addie in Feb...

Vising Aunt Michelle and Uncle Steve in Cincinnati might have been the biggest winter even since Christmas. We loved our time down with them. We went to the aquarium, ate lunch at the Hofbrauhaus, and even had a beer tasting at la casa de Niemira.

We had a great time. We weren't even on the highway yet on our way home, when Addie said what we were all thinking, "I can't wait to go back to Aunt Shell's House."

Yay! Thanks for a great weekend:

Almost a snow man...

A couple of weeks ago we bundled up the kiddos on a sunny Saturday and went outside for some fun. It had just snowed/ice stormed so the snow wasn't exactly packable for a snowman. That didn't stop Addie...or Mike...

Workin' Out

Addie, Mikayla, and I are serious about our fitness. On a recent Sunday afternoon we had to do our Cardio-ball workout. It's part of our healthy-lifestyles plan. I'm not sure about the quality of workout I achieved but the pics are darn cute...

Meeting Isaiah

Two weeks delay here...but here's Addie meeting baby Isaiah for the first time. She's been dying to meet the baby that's been inside Aunt Emmy's tummy for months. Here's a look at her first introduction:

In attempts to vary the standard Medved pannini options, we went portabella mushroom-Camembert cheese. I loved it.

pocket contents

Found this in jen's pocket today. We are parents.

Yep...that's two pressed pennies from the aquarium in cinci, a hair clip, and a light bright piece.

So this weekend was my elementary's annual staff fundraiser. We started three years ago. We pick a new charity each year...depending on what's going on in the lives of our staff and students and then invite the whole school back on a Friday night for games and snacks and general silliness. I'm in charge of the games. I love it.

This year Mike and I worked the twister room (totally fun). I played twister with my students and a few ultra-cool parents and Mike spun the spinner and called out the moves. Okay...I played for nearly 1.5 hours. Twister is meant for like 25 minutes. My hips are killing me from all those goofy positions. It was worse than yoga.

Then we went out to a local dining establishment for the evening as a staff. Until 12:15. That might have been a mistake. I'm old now. My children get up in the 6 o'clock hour. Do the math. That's like less than 5 hours if you count driving home and getting up once to get Sammy back to sleep.

So I've been paying the price all weekend. For twister and late bedtimes. I'm old. It's official.

Hey there, just wanted to drop some pics of my new nephew out on the blog. Isaiah arrived on Sunday morning at a full 8lbs 14oz. He and Emily both looked awesome!
