My not so helpful Elf...

Jen: I'm back from Christmas shopping...what have you been doing?
Mike: (pause)
Jen: Did you wrap my presents?
Mike: (pause)
Jen: Have you been sitting in front of this computer the whole time?
Mike: Well...yeah...I'm doing something important. I'm trying to decide if I believe in global warming.
Jen: come again?
Mike: Yeah, I'm watching this video about climate change and polar bears.
Jen: sigh...Oh good...

Pretty sure Santa and I are NOT concerned about global warming at this point in December! :) Jen

All the single ladies

So we were driving in the car yesterday when we reached a new pinnacle in parenthood. We were talking about Christmas, or something like that when all of a sudden we hear Addie in the back singing... and she sort of sounds like Beyonce.

"all single yaydies, all singa yaydies, all singa yaydies..."

Oh snap. Jen and I looked at each other with expression of combined shock, horror, and amusement.

At least she didn't say "if you like it, put a ring on it".

Tree Obsession

Jen has a growing Christmas tree obsession. It started a few years ago, and has grown to over 20 trees in and around our house. Here is an idea of what I'm talking about.
