Shagmar, my new favorite Bible hero

Here is what the Bible says about Shagmar:

"After him was Shagmar, the son of Anath, who killed 600 Philistines with an oxgoad, and he also saved Israel." (Judges 3:31)

And... that is all. I kind of like this guy.

Here is an oxgoad:

The New Pad

So we redid our guest room into Addison's new bedroom, or her new "big girl room!" Here are some pics of the finished effort. Addie moved to the new bed with ease; well she only fell out the first couple of nights, anyways.

Every girl needs a sweet new pink blanket with brown dots! Grandma Linda was happy to oblige!

Spring is almost here...

Thank goodness the warmer weather is here to stay. Mommy and Addie are ready for the pool...

Cousins...

Here are some great pics of Addie meeting her cousin Mikayla. She calls her "kaaayla" and is very concerned when she cries. I'm sure I'll blink my eyes and the two will be playing Barbies together...

Easter dresses

One of the best things about having a little girl is getting to dress her all up for the holidays. Not that I'm not looking forward to sweater vests and miniature loafers for our next little guy...but there's just something about those cute dresses...

Ker-Plop

So this year, Addie was totally into dying Easter eggs. I was kind of surprised, seeing as most things captivate her attention for 3 minutes tops, but this was a big hit. She loved dropping (and I don't mean placing or gently lowering...)the eggs right into the dye! When it was time to retrieve the eggs, she used the spoon with help and plopped them right into Daddy's hands...they were by no means the prettiest eggs or neatest dying session we've ever had, but we all agreed it was way more fun with Addie this year...

Evasdropping in 2nd Grade

Mrs Medved: "I understand that it's April Fools Day, but there is no more Chewbacca noises in the classroom."
